I studied for my Earth Science BSc at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College and graduated in 2016. Since then I have gained three and a half years’ experience in ground investigation, both in the field and in the office.
I joined LEAP two years ago, and as decisions go it may well have been one of my best. I have particularly enjoyed gaining understanding in both the contamination and geotechnical aspect of our work. I am very impressed with the responsibility and challenge LEAP has provided me with, as well as the continual training and progression which comes in equal measure.
LEAP stands out in the crowd, with its professionalism and attention to detail in all facets of site work, reporting and project management. Within my own office, I feel very much at home; everyone is approachable and committed to delivering the highest quality product for our clients.
Additionally, the friendly and personable quality that each and every colleague has at all levels within each regional office, is both refreshing and perhaps one of my favourite aspects of my work. I have come to truly enjoy waking up in the morning ready to arrive on site for my day’s work; whether that be supervising windowless, cable percussion or rotary boreholes, gas and groundwater monitoring or completing both factual and interpretative reports back in the office.
I feel incredibly blessed to work for a company that cares about its employees. I envision myself working for LEAP for the foreseeable future and look forward to the challenges that are thrown my way as I continue to progress.
