Since its inception in 2008 LEAP as a company has been committed to helping its clients with innovative and leading edge solutions.
LEAP joined the RSK group in 2021. RSK is a global leader in the delivery of sustainable solutions. The Group is a family of over 175 environmental, engineering and technical services businesses working together that are aligned to deliver end-to-end practical solutions to help organisations to achieve their goals sustainably.
In a changing world LEAP recognises that achieving sustainable development is essential, ensuring clients reach their business goals while minimizing the impact on the environment to protect it for future generations.
Based on these principals we have mapped out our path towards achieving Net Zero while ensuring that our engineering solutions support our clients to help them meet the challenge of creating a more sustainable built environment.

Inclusion and diversity champion supporting women in engineering and working closely with local schools and colleges to promote STEM | Minimise environmental impact through energy saving within office spaces and managing impacts of site work through our carbon reduction plan |
LEAP is a signatory of ‘Pledge to Net Zero’. While LEAP recognises the use of CReDiT across their clients’ sites will create a considerable carbon saving we are also working on reducing our own carbon footprint.
LEAP’s pledge to net zero was taken from our 2019/2020 baseline and has already achieved a 15% reduction in carbon emissions. This equates to a 35% reduction in carbon emissions intensity from 22.2 tCO2e/£m revenue in 2019/2020 to 15.21 tCO2e/£m revenue in 21/22.
Emissions Reduction Targets
Our path to net zero has been developed as part of our sustainability strategy launched in 2021 and our commitment to the “pledge to net zero”.
To continue with our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction target.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 45.00 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 30%.
Alongside working with our clients to reduce the carbon footprint of new developments our staff are committed to supporting LEAP in our reduction of our own carbon footprint and the impact they have on the environment.
Leap is a signatory of ‘Pledge to Net Zero’. We are committed to taking a leadership role in the transition to a Net Zero carbon economy.
